Open Diabetes is a free, non profit, open source, online platform for people with diabetes type 1.
At it's first stage specially focused on users of the Medtronic Pump, but in the near future we plan to provide similar services for all type 1 diabetics.

Open Diabetes aims to be the first and biggest database of diabetics profiles, with the purpose of benefiting all of its members. It also intends the ambitions goal of becoming the standard for storing, viewing and sharing this information, with the final objective of improving control over diabetes and improving our quality of life.

Here diabetics can easily store all their diabetes related information; their insulin dosage, glucose information, carb intake, and more. This online platform will not only help view their results, through personalised charts and diagrams, but also understand these results detecting trends and patterns. Send automatic and periodic results by email to your doctors and create the only diabetic database that will be analysed, allowing your doctor to compare your data with similar patients.

Open Diabetes is a open source, which means it's free, always will be free, and can be improved by anyone at any time. It uses open source standars such as PHP and MySQL.
